Jennifer Seaman
Jennifer became a member of Chambers in 2009 and is currently developing her practice in all areas of commercial and Chancery work.
During pupillage at 3 Stone Buildings Jennifer gained experience across a broad range of commercial/Chancery work under the supervision of Andrew Child, Andrew Twigger and Fenner Moeran.
In particular, Jennifer assisted Geoffrey Vos QC, Joe Smouha QC (of Essex Court Chambers) and Andrew Twigger in preparing the successful Claimant's claim in Benedetti v Sawiris [2009] EWHC 1330 (Ch) which consisted of a three-month trial before Patten J. regarding a commercial dispute following a $12 billion leveraged buy-out of a telecommunications company.
Before joining Chambers Jennifer spent a period of time as an intern in the litigation department at Clyde & Co LLP and at a specialist litigation firm, Trief & Olk, in New York.

Education
Jennifer read law at New College, Oxford, where she was awarded a New College Law Scholarship. She subsequently obtained the BCL at New College, Oxford, focusing on restitution, trusts, civil procedure and international economic law. Jennifer completed the BVC at BPP, and received the Wigglesworth, Hubert Greenland and Hardwicke scholarships from Lincoln's Inn.
