April news
01 April 2006
Paul Chaisty QC and Ian Watson have now settled in to Chambers.
Geoffrey Vos QC acted for Apple Corps in its high profile litigation against Apple Computer. The judgment is expected soon.
Chambers
has been continuing its successful programme of seminars. In March, we
held a commercial litigation seminar. The speakers were Edward
Bannister QC, Paul Chaisty QC, and Andrew Twigger. Copies of the papers
can be downloaded from the 'News' heading above. We are holding a
trusts seminar in July.
Chambers is also undertaking a series of 'road shows':
Andrew Cosedge, Gilead Cooper, Ian Watson and Oliver Hilton are talking on the trustee's duty of disclosure.
Sarah Asplin QC, Andrew Child and Fenner Moeran are talking on trustees and conflicts of interest.
Firms interested in hosting such a roadshow should contact the clerks.
Sarah
Asplin QC also spoke on the interaction of contract and trusts in unit
trusts and pension schemes to the STEP Caribbean Conference in Bermuda
held on 10-12 April.
The latest Chamber's newsletter has now
been published. Copies are available from the clerks and will be
downloadable in due course from the 'News' heading above.
