Richard Wilson and Constance McDonnell
3 Stone Buildings is delighted to
announce that Richard Wilson and Constance McDonnell have joined chambers. Both
Richard and Constance are recommended as leading juniors for Traditional
Chancery in the 2010 edition of Chambers and Partners which describes Richard
as "a real solicitors' favourite" and
quotes solicitors as describing Constance as "one of the best advocates we've instructed."
Richard's practice encompasses both
traditional and commercial chancery work with a particular emphasis on trusts
(both onshore and offshore), probate, tax and related professional negligence.
He is a member of STEP and ACTAPS and is speaking at the forthcoming Legal Week
Trusts and Estates Litigation Forum in Provence, an event of which 3 Stone
Buildings is a sponsor. His reported cases include Blackman v. Man [2008] WTLR
389 and S v. T1 [2006] WTLR 1461. He is also co-author of the ‘Trust Litigation
Handbook' which is due for publication by Jordans later in 2010.
Constance has a traditional
Chancery practice, specialising in contentious trusts and probate,
1975 Act claims, administration of estates and removal of PRs. Her recent reported
cases include Raymond Saul & Co (a firm) v Holden [2009] Ch 313 and Caudle
v LD Law Ltd [2008] 1 WLR 1540.
The addition of Richard and
Constance further strengthens the highly regarded group of contentious trusts
and probate practitioners at 3 Stone Buildings and we are looking forward to
working with them.
